Air Dome is no longer limited to industrial and sports, but also to agriculture
Recently, we announced the practical application of its High Transparent Eco Agricultural Air Dome Greenhouse. This project has been operating in agricultural planting scenarios for many years, demonstrating the practical application of air-supported membrane structures in the field of agricultural planting.
Unlike traditional agricultural facilities, agricultural air-supported structures rely on air pressure to support more than 90% of their structure, eliminating the need for rigid frames, thus saving building materials and achieving environmental protection. Furthermore, the choice of membrane material allows for flexible control over desired characteristics, such as specific lighting conditions and heat dissipation performance. At the same time, the resulting continuous interior space is expansive and unobstructed, better accommodating both cultivation requirements and personnel activities.
Air dome structures can be equipped with ventilation, environmental monitoring, and agricultural environmental control systems to manage indoor air quality and the cultivation environment. Air-supported structures can also be designed and adjusted according to local climate, crop type, or specific agricultural research requirements, making them more stable and energy-efficient than ordinary greenhouses.
Currently, the announced agricultural air-supported membrane structure is operating stably. The favorable growing environment enables growers to cultivate high-quality crops with ease and convenience. This air-supported membrane has become a prime example and a source of prestige for promoting such structures in the local area. Practical applications show that air-supported membrane buildings are not limited to industrial enclosures (such as storage facilities or excavation enclosures) or sports and leisure venues that people usually see. For scenarios like agricultural planting that have specific requirements for space or environmental conditions, inflated air domes can also play a role in combination with specific usage conditions.
Next, we will continue to promote air dome technology in the agricultural sector, increase its adoption rate in agricultural settings, and drive agricultural modernization and green sustainable development. Furthermore, we continue to explore application possibilities in other adaptable scenarios, enabling this lightweight, efficient, and low-energy-consumption building form to serve more industries.
